Bio
Shareon “Bhare” Blenman, Multidisiplinary Artist
2020, BFA, Johnson & Wales University
Born in Queens, NY in 1998, Shareon Blenman, aka Bhare, is a first-generation Barbadian American abstract artist. Multidisciplinary in his mediums, his main focus is working with acrylic and oil pastels on canvas, commonly utilizing a wet-on-dry technique to layer colors and minimal illustrations, creating a lawless yet simple abstract style. Drawing inspiration from his personal journals, multi-media artist Bhare imbeds his artworks with reflections of his individual growth and the intimate intricacies of home life. His work is filled with symbolism, reflecting an ever-evolving spectrum of emotions, represented through bold geometric shapes, figures, and expressive free writing. His abstract work is introspective, and his inspirations stem from growing up in the DC/Metro area, Japanese animation, storytelling, food, simple objects, and the pure want to heal over past trauma, no matter how big or small.
In 2021, Bhare entered the Web3 ecosystem, finding success and solidifying his unique artistic identity. His contributions to contemporary art discourse seamlessly merge introspection with technological innovations. Bhare has exhibited throughout North America (New York, DC, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Houston, and Charlotte) and internationally in Toronto and Copenhagen. He was featured at Art Basel Miami at Art Innovation Gallery in 2022 and curated his first noteworthy exhibition,“Black Histories and Futures,” in 2023 in Los Angeles. He is represented by four prestigious galleries and is an international player in the digital art world, with over 30 NFTs sold within the first year.

For myself, speed was everything. The first to reach a milestone in the family, speed-running a classic video game — increasing production in my creative process.
